The Board of Directors of Atuqtuarvik Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Beardsall to the position of Administrative Assistant.
Atuqtuarvik Corporation is a loan and investment corporation created by Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated (NTI) and Nunavut Trust to help ensure direct Inuit participation in major economic opportunities. The corporation provides loan and equity investments to Inuit owned businesses for the purpose of business start-ups, acquisitions and expansions. Atuqtuarvik Corporation assists Inuit-owned businesses that demonstrate sound management, provide direct benefits to Inuit and can obtain debt financing from conventional sources to complement Atuqtuarvik Corporation's loan and equity investments.
Emily Beardsall, Administrative Assistant
As part of the Atuqtuarvik Corporation's team, Emily provides a broad range of support to the Corporation and the Board of Directors in the areas of:
- administration;
- finance;
- secretarial services;
- interpretation / translation
Prior to joining Atuqtuarvik Corporation, Emily worked for the Hamlet of Coral Harbour, as the Wellness Coordinator and was responsible for the delivery of Brighter Futures program. Emily has also worked in the drug and alcohol addictions field and with the Restorative Justice Committee. |
