is a 7-bit font designed for reading Inuktitut syllabic
web pages for both Windows and Macintosh computers.
The Nunacom font is FREE to all users.
Please note that Atuqtuarvik does not provide
support for the Nunacom font.

You will be downloading
an uncompressed Windows True Type Font
(TTF) file. Right Click with your mouse
and choose "Save As" to save the font
file to your hard drive.
How to Install the nunacom.ttf file
Now that you have the nunacom.ttf file, you will
need to install it in the font directory
- Go to the "Start" Menu, choose "Settings," then "Control
Panel."
- When the Control Panel window
opens, double-click on "Fonts."
- When the Fonts window opens, go
to the File menu, then select "Install new
font."
- When the "Add Fonts" window appears,
find and click on the "nunacom.ttf." The "nunacom" font
should now appear in the "List of fonts" window.
- Click on "OK."
You will need to restart your web browser in order to
see the "nunacom" font, but you don't need to restart your computer.

You will be downloading a "stuffed" (compressed)
file containing the Nunacom font suitcase
file. Your browser may automatically
open and un-stuff this file. If not you
will need to open it with Stuffit Expander
after downloading it to your hard drive.
Stuffit Expander is a shareware program
available from www.download.com.
After you have un-stuffed the file you
will have a font suitcase file called
"nunacom".
Installing the Nunacom font
In Mac OS X, double-click on the Font Suitcase and it should open in the Font Book. Once it has opened, click the button labelled "Install Font" and then quit the Font Book.
If you have an older version of Mac OS, or it doesn't open in the Font Book, drag the file called "nunacom" onto the "System Folder" on your hard drive (usually "Macintosh HD"). If Stuffit Expander made a "nunacom" folder, copy only the "nunacom" file from inside the folder, not the whole folder.
You will need to restart your web browser in order to
see the "nunacom" font, but you don't need to restart your computer.
